NEW WAVE MARINE TAKES ON 5 NEW STAFF

Plymouth’s New Wave Marine has taken on 5 new staff in dual working roles for its Drainage and Confined Space Rescue teams.

The new appointments are in response to the large volumes of contracts they are delivering with clients’ across the South West and UK, says Commercial Manager Andy Aldred.


Mr Aldred, said: “I’m relatively new at New Wave Marine and was brought in to drive our Drainage services at an exciting time in the company’s business development.”


“The new recruits will be trained in getting their Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards together with WinCan accreditation in operating our new CCTV camera unit vehicle and systems,” he said.


“Our drainage experts deliver drain unblocking and cleaning, high-pressure water jetting with a specialised fleet of vehicles, sewerage treatments, grease traps, and available 24/7 for all drainage emergencies.”

Darren Negus, Operations Manager, at New Wave Marine, said: “Andy has over a decade of experience working in the drainage solutions sector and already recruited 5 new employees to work across all aspects of our business operations.”


“We were working flat out during the Covid-19 lockdown and our teams operate 365 days a year and work across the UK,” he said.


“We’re looking to expand further and especially new investments in our vehicle fleet, and its not all business doom and gloom during these challenging times.”
