A delegation of business leaders from Leipzig, Germany met the chief executive George Cowcher at the Devon Chamber of Commerce – to discuss future partnership working between Plymouth and Leipzig.

The German business delegation took part in the Devon Business Show for a second year, and are excited over plans by the Devon Chamber in looking at setting up a German Club, said James Parsons director of ICC Sprachinstitut.

Mr Cowcher, said: “We are looking at setting up a German Club with Leipzig that would be a bridge head for business opportunities across Germany. The German Club will identify and work with Plymouth and Devon companies wanting to buy and sell in Germany and the UK. It will be a product directory for match making firms in both cities.”

The German delegation was invited to Plymouth by Dorcas Media and supported by the Devon Chamber of Commerce.
