Tellus College is recruiting Plymouth families to host its European students.

It is launching a Host Family Club on June 17, at 6:30pm at its Swarthmore Education Centre, on Mutley Plain.

The education provider is looking for families to host international students – and be paid for it.

Students will be studying in Plymouth for varying periods of time, depending on their programme of study, so short- and long-term accommodation is required.

Kerry Sherlock, host family manager, said: “Our new Host Family Club is open to anyone, and is a mixture of socialising, networking, and celebrating the contribution our host families make in accommodating and supporting our clients, and delivering a vital service to our business and the city.

“This is a good time to meet the team, meet other host families, and learn more about other cultures, and earn extra cash. So come and find out more about what we do, and be part of a wider community.”
