GLOBAL AMBITIONS FOR SOLAX POWER

CHINESE inverter manufacturer SolaX Power is looking to be a dominant player in the UK, European, and Australian markets – for residential energy storage, over the next few years.

The company is part of a division of the Suntellite Group, and manufactures LED lighting, Polysilicon Cell, Solar Modules, EVA and medical equipment, and are already working with many well-known distributors in the UK and Australia, said Apollo Chai, marketing manager, of SolaX Power.

Apollo, said: “We are strongly promoting our X-Hybrid Storage System and in our opinion is the future of the solar industry. We have put together a video promotion to explain what a hybrid inverter is, functions of the inverter as well as the benefits for customers.”

“We are attending at the Shanghai SNEC and InterSolar Expo to display our energy storage system. We are confident about the energy storage market this year, and looking to occupy 40% of the residential energy storage market share from all over the world.”

“Our future ambition is to take 60% of the energy storage in UK, Europe, and Australia, and replace SMA to become the world’s largest and best inverter manufacturer.”

The company employs over 80 engineers and professors at designated facilities in China, with 16 international offices across the globe, and exports to 47 countries through 200 distribution channels.

Apollo Chai, added: “Our commitment is to supply a more advanced, reliable, safer and cost-effective range of PV products and energy system solutions, which are engineered to meet the world’s growing energy demands.”

Zhejiang University is a significant shareholder in the company, and the home to the only national key silicon material laboratories in China’s Silicon Valley.

Apollo Chai, is the marketing manager of SolaX Power, and graduated as Master of Economics from Monash University in Australia. She is responsible for branding, promotion, reputation build-up, and exhibition and related marketing materials for the company.
