Forces News was filming at the Garage Café in Plymouth’s Union Street recently that supports the city’s homeless and armed forces veterans.

Jason Parsons, the Managing Director of New Wave Marine was interviewed by Senior Reporter Briohny Williams of Forces News together with army veteran Stefan Daniel.

Campaigners are looking to raise £25K to renovate the upstairs of the Garage Cafe building with painting, decorating and new electrics, heating, doors, carpets, toilet and shower facilities.

Ex-forces army veteran Stefan Daniel is looking to raise £10K for a mini-bus to support the veterans on volunteering work across the city.

Also, Stefan Daniel is looking to raise a further £10K for a new mini-bus vehicle to support ex-forces in Plymouth that will allow teams to travel to activities, volunteering projects, he said.

The Warrior Within Project has been set up by veterans for veterans to support ex-forces with mental health problems including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
