CLEVER LADIES IN THE PINK

NINE Clever ladies have signed up for the 7-mile Midnight Walk tomorrow night – and joining thousands of other women raising cash for St Lukes Hospice.

Over the last few weeks visitors to the Clever Students Lets offices have been greeted by an office of pink T-shirts and flashing tiaras, and raised over £400 for the city hospice.

The team all work at North Hill based, Clever Student Lets, that delivers accommodation needs for UK and international students studying in the city.

Becky Blackford, said: “All nine of us taking part in the walk have lost a loved one to cancer, or a family member cared for by St Lukes Hospice. This is our way at putting something back, and supporting what this amazing hospice does.”

Tracy Loben, added: “We haven’t done any training for the walk, but we all do a lot of walking.

St Luke’s cares for patients at the end of their lives, in hospice or through community nurses, social workers and occupational therapists.

Patients come from Plymouth, Tavistock, Dartmoor, South Brent and into the South Hams.
