BITTER SWEET FASHION CELEBRATION
PLYMOUTH fashion business Glamour Icons is celebrating winning a contract for a third year in a row of designing and making outfits – for the Plymouth Raiders cheer leaders.
City businesswoman Patriciah Petrie, said: “Winning the contract is bitter sweet, because I’m saying goodbye to my Tellus Group intern Ornella Jean-Baptiste-Simonne.”
22-year-old international student Ornella has been on work experience in my studios for the last 7-months, and is returning home to Martinique in the Caribbean and completing her education.”
“Ornella has been running my marketing and online activities, and increased my business turnover by over 20 percent, and will be sadly missed.”
Miss Jean-Baptiste-Simonne, added: “I have loved my stay in Plymouth very much indeed. I’ve also improved my English skills, and had great experience working with Glamour Icons . But most importantly, I’ve lost 40lbs in weight through months of extensive exercising with the support of Patriciah Petrie.”
“When I complete my education back home I’m going to set up my own keep fit business, and intend to carry on my business links with Plymouth.”
