NEW WAVE SHORTLISTED FOR FAMILY BIZ AWARDS

Great start for New Wave Marine and Amazing Me Plymouth – in both being shortlisted for Family Business Awards in central London in June.

 

 

New Wave Marine have been shortlisted for the South & South West Family Business of the Year Awards 2019 #FBOTY2019#FamilyBusiness once again, and highlighting the importance family companies make to the economy of the South West and UK.

Darren Negus, operations manager at NWM, said: “We are really excited to be shortlisted again, and what a great start for 2019 for our business.”

Family business Amazing Me is Plymouth’s newest and most quirky hair and beauty salon in North Prospect Road – and serves its pampered customers with afternoon cream teas.

Married couple James and Sharon Evans have breathed new life into the local row of shops, and Amazing Me – is now a hub in the heart of the community.

Mrs Evans, said: “We offer our clients pamper parties to feel and look good, and our cream teas are for our customers only – and are drawing in lots of new business,” she said.

 

Kevin Kelway, media director at Dorcas Media, said: “We are very pleased that New Wave Marine has been shortlisted for a second year. And new start up business, Amazing Me Plymouth has been recognised with a shortlisting at the Business Awards in central London.”

The Family Business of the Year Awards are organised by Family Business United, the award-winning magazine and resource centre that champions and celebrates the family business sector.  Now in their seventh year, these awards recognise the diversity, strength and depth of family firms across the UK and seek to highlight the contribution that family firms make to the UK economy.
